By filling out this order form, I the customer give Top Notch Auto Transport authorization to make shipping arrangements for this vehicle. By submitting an order online, fax or email, Top Notch Auto Transport understands customer is placing an order and accepts the Terms and Conditions found here and on Top Notch Auto Transport web site. 1. After customers make the vehicle available for pick up, the time frame is 1 to 10 business days to find a carrier once we assign your vehicle to a carrier, its any where from 1-10 days for delivery All dates and times given are an approximation. We cannot guarantee exact dates or times of when the vehicle will be picked up or delivered. Carriers may be subject to delays. Top Notch Auto Transport will not be held responsible for any expense related to a delay (car rental fees, storage fees, etc).
2. The transportation of your vehicle is door-to-door service. There are times when carriers are unable to drive to a specific pickup or delivery location. It is the responsibility of the customer or agent to make arrangements to meet at an alternative location, parking lot etc.
3. Your Quote price is just an estimate of what we feel a carrier will transport your vehicle for. This is not a guaranteed price and it can change if carrier wants more to take your vehicle, its customer will be given the option of accepting or declining. It is our obligation to call you and let you know any price that is requested by the carrier.
4. We do offer offshore shipments (Hawaii), the payment is required in full at the time the shipping order form is submitted. Offshore payments can be made by the same methods as deposits listed below.
5. Deposit information is collected at the time of booking. We don’t process your deposit until your vehicle has been loaded onto the transport carrier and its in route to the destination. The deposit may be paid with electronic check, or credit card, Pay Pal. There is no fee for electronic checks, there is a 3% transaction fee applied to Pay Pal and credit card transactions. The balance gets paid to the driver/carrier upon delivery. Unless other arrangements have been made ahead of time, payment is to be made with cash.
6. Top Notch Auto Transport offers discounts to the Military, Senior Citizens, multi-car and return customers.
7. Please let Top Notch Auto Transport know at the time of requesting a quote of the correct vehicle type (Car, SUV, truck, van, etc. (lifts, oversized tires, etc.) Vehicle type and alternations may affect the quoted price.
8. Top Notch Auto Transport must be notified should the customer be unavailable for pickup or delivery, or if either the pickup or delivery locations, with time to notify the carrier. If a carrier is sent out and the vehicle is not available for pickup, Top Notch Auto Transport reserves the right to charge a $150.00 rescheduling fee.
9. NON-OPERATIONAL VEHICLES. A $150.00 "NON-OP" fee is applied to all vehicles that are non-operational. This fee is included in the price when the non-running vehicle indicator has been selected. The shipper may be required to help load and unload the vehicle at the discretion of the driver. If by any chance, the vehicle is non-operational at the time of pick-up and was not first specified, or becomes non-operational during transport, additional fees may be applied.
10. Customers will not double-book with another company. This is when a customer is contracted to more than one broker for the same vehicle. It costs companies money and time, and since Top Notch Auto Transport works for free until customer's vehicle is picked-up, we don’t want double booking. If Top Notch Auto Transport finds that contracted customer is double booked with another company, customer will be charged a $150.00 fee and contract will be cancelled.
11. If you place an order with us you have the option to cancel any time prior to your vehicle being assigned to a transport. All cancellations must be made in writing. Once a carrier has been assigned for pick-up and transport of the vehicle(s) cancellations must be received by Top Notch Auto Transport prior to your vehicle being assigned to a transporter. You will be charged a $150.00 Administration fee.
12. Top Notch Auto Transport is a licensed and bonded Property Broker. We arrange for the transportation of the vehicle by finding an appropriate carrier with up to date license and full coverage insurance. All of our carrier have a good rating on the National Loads Board. We do not own trucks or physically transport the vehicle. Our services are to get a carrier assigned to pickup and delivery of your vehicle safely.
13. All vehicles shall be paid by CASH or CASHIERS CHECK ONLY Should the driver/carrier delivery be attempted after attempted notification (3 to 24 hours voice notification to phone numbers provided by customer) and customer or his agent is unavailable to receive delivery, vehicle(s) will be taken to and left at the nearest storage place at the discretion of the carrier, where shipper will have to pick it up and pay for storage fee. 14. Top Notch Auto Transport does not authorize the shipper to transport personal or household items in the passenger or trunk compartment of the vehicle(s). Load weight limits are placed on all carriers transporting vehicles and household goods. The carriers are subject to fines if they are over their load weight limit or they are not licensed to transport household goods. If the vehicle(s) has been loaded with personal items the carrier has the right to refuse to load your vehicle, ask you to remove the items or they may charge extra (a much as $250). Top Notch Auto Transport and the carrier are not responsible for any personal goods placed in the vehicle. We do not recommend putting items of value in the vehicle. YOU DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK! Personal items are NOT covered by the carrier's liability insurance.
15. Top Notch Auto Transport will not be held responsible for vandalism, acts of God (fire, flooding, hail, sand storms, tornadoes, earthquakes, etc.) or objects flying from the road or sky during transport. Shippers should maintain their own insurance for these reasons.
16. Carrier's responsibility begins when the customer or his agent signs the Bill of Lading at pick up and there should be an inspection by the carrier at both the time of pickup and delivery and a Bill of Lading completed. Customer should inspect the vehicle carefully with the carrier at both the time of pickup and delivery. Customer is responsible for proper preparation of the vehicle for transport. All loose parts etc. must be removed and/or properly secured. Any part that falls off in transit is customer’s responsibility, including damages done by said part to any and all vehicles involved. 17. If damage to the vehicle should occur, all money owed for the transport must be paid to the carrier to initiate a claim. Damage must be properly noted on the Bill of Lading and signed by both the carrier and customer. Without proper notation of damage on the carrier’s Bill of Lading, customer verifies that the vehicle was received in good condition. Top Notch Auto Transport must be notified by phone within 24 hours of delivery of the damage. We will support customers in filing insurance claims. Claims are to be filed directly with the carrier’s insurance. If the vehicle is valued at a higher than market rate, we suggest you purchase a special insurance.
18. Customer agrees that all actions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Clark County, Vancouver, Washington. Customer specifically waives any right to judicature of this matter at any other location. Top Notch Auto Transport can only be liable for up to the amount of the deposit located on your quotation. Top Notch Auto Transport will not be held liable for carrier’s damage. Top Notch Auto Transport will provide carriers insurance certificate and carrier information should anything arise.
Damage to undercarriage, exhaust system, suspension, wheel bearings, tie downs, brakes, alignment, tuning, charging system or battery. (No evaluation is made of these components or systems at pickup location) therefore Top Notch Auto Transport does not accept responsibility for them.
Top Notch Auto Transport shall not be responsible for the following: - Damage not detected at pickup location due to poor weather or lighting conditions. - Damage to car phones or antenna under any condition (suggests that they may be removed) - Loss of or damage to audio or video equipment not installed at the factory. Including antenna that does not retract to within 3 inches of the vehicles body. - Damage or fines incurred because shipper left personal or household items in vehicle. - Damage caused by fluids or objects flying up from the roadway, or out of the sky. - Damage to cloth or vinyl convertible or decorative tops over 2 years old. - Damage to T-tops, boots, bras, caps, or any other type of canvas covering. - Damage caused by leaking fluids, such as battery acid, motor oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, power steering fluid, radiator coolant, or fallout resulting from acts of God. - Damage caused by freezing of cooling system and/or battery. - Damage caused by failure of factory tie-downs or pull through from tie-down holes. - Damage to, or caused by any vehicle that cannot be driver on or off the transport under its own power. (Vehicle will not run, or has lost its braking system).
